Man United midfielder makes Eden Hazard declaration after Chelsea FC win Europa League
Outgoing Man United star Ander Herrera lavishes praise on Eden Hazard after Chelsea FC win the Europa League final
Ander Herrera has named Chelsea FC’s Eden Hazard as the best player that the Manchester United midfielder has faced during his Premier League career.
The Spain international is set to leave Manchester United on a free transfer this summer following the expiration of his contract next month.
Herrera has already confirmed his departure after five seasons at the 20-time English champions.
Jose Mourinho regularly used Herrera to do a man-marking job at Hazard during his spell at Manchester United.
Hazard could be on the move in the 2019 summer transfer window amid reported interest from La Liga giants Real Madrid.
The Chelsea FC number 10 got his hands on the Europa League trophy for the second time on Wednesday night.
Hazard scored twice in a 4-1 victory over bitter rivals Arsenal in Baku to ensure that he ends his Chelsea FC career on a high note.
And outgoing Manchester United midfielder took to Instagram to react to Hazard’s performance in the Europa League final.
“Just watching the EL final, I can say Hazard is the best player I have played against in my 5 years playing in the Premier League,” Herrera wrote on his Instagram story.
Hazard has won two Premier League titles, two Europa League crowns, the FA Cup and the League Cup during his spell at Stamford Bridge.
The Belgium international was voted the PFA player of the year in 2015 after he fired Chelsea FC to Premier League title glory.
