Guillem Balague claims Chelsea FC and Man United are interested in a deal to sign CSKA Moscow midfielder Mario Fernandes

Chelsea FC, Manchester City and Manchester United are all interested in CSKA Moscow midfielder Mario Fernandes, according to transfer expert Guillem Balague.
The Brazilian-born Russia international has been impressing for CSKA Moscow over the past couple of seasons to earn interest from the Premier League.
The 28-year-old scored one goal and made six assists in 27 appearances in the Russian top flight in the 2018-19 season.
Born in Sao Caetano do Sul, Fernandes has already played 16 times for the Russia national team.
Spanish football expert Balague confirmed that Fernandes is attracting interest from a host of Europe’s top clubs.
Balague wrote on Twitter: “Mario Fernandes (CSKA Moscow) followed closely by Manchester United, City, Bayern, Chelsea (despite ban) and even Barcelona. Cost, €25m. Brazilian born, Russian international, quality, pace, tall, can run for two days, ready to make the jump to the top. A summer bargain.”
Manchester United are looking to strengthen in the midfield area this summer following Ander Herrera’s exit on a free transfer to Paris Saint-Germain.
The Red Devils are contending with interest from Real Madrid for their star midfielder Paul Pogba.
Chelsea FC, meanwhile, are set to be handed a transfer ban but are currently appealing the process so the Blues can still sign players.
Manchester City won the Premier League title by a point this season after Liverpool FC pushed Pep Guardiola’s men all the way in the race for the top-flight crown.
The Citizens are in the market to sign a long-term successor for Brazilian midfielder Fernandinho.
