Ruben Loftus-Cheek delivers an update about his future at Chelsea FC heading into the summer transfer window

Ruben Loftus-Cheek has hinted that he will be happy to stay at Chelsea FC this summer.
The 23-year-old has scored nine goals in all competitions this term under Maurizio Sarri and he has been more of a regular fixture in the first team at Stamford Bridge in recent weeks.
Loftus-Cheek has scored six goals and made two assists in the Premier League this season, although he has been limited to just five starts in the top flight so far this term.
The England international’s future has been a source of speculation because he only has two years left to run on his current contract at Stamford Bridge.
However, Loftus-Cheek has now appeared to indicate that he is happy at the west London club as the season reaches its climax.
Speaking at a news conference before Chelsea FC’s clash with Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League on Thursday night, Loftus-Cheek said: “I’m not sure (over new contract), I let my agent deal with it. I’m not thinking about that right now.
“It’s important for me to focus on the here and now, and I’m playing right now. It’s looking good so there’s no reason why I should think about leaving Chelsea.”
When told he deserves a pay rise, Loftus-Cheek laughed and added: “There’s no reason for me to leave. If I get a pay rise, that’ll be great.”
Loftus-Cheek will be hoping to feature for Chelsea FC when the Blues play their final Premier League game of the season on Sunday afternoon with a trip to Leicester City.
The west London club have already secured a top-four finish this season to book their place in next season’s Champions League.
