Bayern to send doctor to assess Chelsea FC star before summer bid – report
Bayern Munich will send a doctor to assess crocked Chelsea FC star Callum Hudson-Odoi before a future bid, according to a report
Bayern Munich will send a doctor to determine the severity of Callum Hudson-Odoi’s injury before making a fresh bid for the Chelsea FC teenager, according to a report in Germany.
German media outlet Bild, as quoted by The Sun, is reporting that the Bundesliga giants remain interested in a deal to sign the 18-year-old.
The same article states that Bayern are ready to swoop for Hudson-Odoi provided their club doctor gives his approval following an assessment of the Chelsea FC forward.
According to the same story, the German club will keep a close eye on his return from an Achilles injury in pre-season before Bayern launch a potential bid.
The Blues talent was thought to have been the subject of interest from Bayern Munich in the January transfer window.
Hudson-Odoi is set to become a free agent at the end of the 2019-20 season unless Chelsea FC can convince the England international to commit his future to the Stamford Bridge outfit and sign a new deal.
Alternatively, Chelsea FC could decide to cash in on Hudson-Odoi in the summer or in January rather than lose Hudson-Odoi for almost nothing next summer.
Hudson-Odoi managed to force his way into Maurizio Sarri’s plans this season before the winger succumbed to an Achilles injury.
The Chelsea FC star has netted five goals and has made two assists in 21 appearances in all competitions in the current campaign.
