The Belgium international is being heavily linked with a move to La Liga giants Real Madrid in the summer transfer window following a frustrating season for Hazard at Stamford Bridge.
The 28-year-old was one of Chelsea FC’s only consistent performers at the west London side looked to adapt to the style of Antonio Conte’s replacement Maurizio Sarri.
Hazard finished the Premier League season with 16 goals in 37 games to help Chelsea FC finish in the top four and secure a place in the Champions League next term.
Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is being linked with a host of potential signings as the France legend looks to revamp his squad following a poor season in La Liga.
Chelsea FC will be eager to secure a transfer fee for Hazard rather than allow the Belgian forward to leave for nothing at the end of the 2019-20 season.
And Sky Sports News reporter Solhekol has now provided an update on the negotiations between Chelsea FC and Real Madrid over Hazard’s potential sale.
“Their plans also depend on what happens to Eden Hazard. He has told the club he wants to move to Real Madrid,” Solhekol told Sky Sports.
“Chelsea would prefer to keep him, but it would make business sense to sell him as he has one year left on his contract.
“Talks have been held between the clubs and Chelsea are holding out for a figure close to £100m.”
Hazard has won two Premier League titles, the FA Cup, the League Cup and the Europa League during his stint at Chelsea FC.
