Eden Hazard wants his move to Real Madrid from Chelsea FC tied up by 4 June, according to reports in the British media.

The Daily Mirror is claiming that the 28-year-old playmaker has set a deadline for his move to the Spanish club as he looks to secure his dream transfer to the Bernabeu.

According to the same story, Real Madrid are set to “firm up” their interest in signing Hazard in the coming days as they look to bring the Belgium international in as one of their first summer signings.

However, the two clubs are still £26m apart in their valuations of Hazard, with Real Madrid so far offering £86m and Chelsea FC looking for something closer to £112m, according to the same article.

The same article says that a compromise is expected to be reached and that Hazard is “almost certain” to be joining Real Madrid from Chelsea FC this summer.

Hazard is reported to have told friends that he wants his move to Real Madrid in place before he joins up with his Belgium team-mates for their Euro 2020 qualifiers with Kazakhstan on June 8 and Scotland on June 11.

The former Lille attacker will be hoping to help Chelsea FC end the campaign with a trophy by beating Arsenal in the Europa League final on Wednesday night.
