Former Liverpool FC defender Carragher was quick to find comfort in Manchester United’s misery in what proved to be anti-climatic day for Reds supporters.

Liverpool FC are looking to win the European Cup for the sixth time when the Reds taken on Spurs in the Champions League showpiece on Saturday 1 June.
