Mohamed Salah sends message to Liverpool FC fans following title disappointment
Liverpool FC striker Mohamed Salah is confident the Reds can challenge for the title next term

Mohamed Salah has reassured Liverpool FC supporters that Jurgen Klopp’s players will be ready to push for the title again next season.
The Reds finished in second place in the Premier League table and a point behind champions Manchester City following a dramatic conclusion to the title race.
Liverpool FC eased to a comfortable 2-0 victory over Wolves at Anfield thanks to goals from Sadio Mane either side of half-time.
Manchester City suffered a setback when Glenn Murray broke the deadlock at the Amex Stadium but goals from Sergio Aguero, Aymeric Laporte, Riyad Mahrez and Ilkay Gundogan sealed a 4-1 win at Brighton.
Liverpool FC only lost one Premier League game in a near perfect campaign for Klopp’s side after Manchester City were 2-1 winners against the Reds at The Etihad back in January.
The Merseyside outfit can still end the season on a high note if Liverpool FC beat Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League final in Madrid on Saturday 1 June.
Salah sent his congratulations to champions Manchester City before adding that Liverpool FC will be ready to challenge next term.
“We did everything this season, we only lost one game. We got 97 points,” Salah told Sky Sports.
“I say congratulations to Manchester City and we will fight again next season for this trophy.”
Egypt international Salah finished at the top of the Premier League’s goal-scoring charts on 22 goals alongside his Liverpool FC team-mate Mane and Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
