Alexis Sanchez to cut short holiday in attempt to force Man United exit – report
Alexis Sanchez is keen to seal a move away from Man United this summer, say reports
Alexis Sanchez is planning to cut short his summer holiday and return to pre-season early to get fit and force a move away from Manchester United, according to reports in the British media.
The Sun is reporting that the 30-year-old forward is keen to seal a move away from Old Trafford this summer after a very disappointing start to his Old Trafford career.
Sanchez arrived at Manchester United from Arsenal in the January 2018 transfer window but he has struggled with form and fitness issues since the switch.
The attacker failed to hold down a regular starting spot this season as the Red Devils ended up in sixth place in the Premier League table and without a trophy.
The same article says Sanchez is “desperate” to quit Old Trafford this summer and seal a move away from the Premier League club.
According to the same story, Sanchez is planning to return to Carrington before July 2 to prove that he is fit and try and get a transfer away from the club.
It is claimed in the same story that the attacker’s representatives have already held talks with Juventus and Inter Milan about a potential switch to Serie A.
