Man United have plan if David De Gea leaves this summer – report
Man United will promote Sergio Romero to the number one spot if David De Gea leaves, say reports

Manchester United will promote Sergio Romero to the number one spot at Old Trafford if David De Gea leaves this summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mail is reporting that the Red Devils will not spend big on a new goalkeeper this summer and will instead promote Romero to the top spot at Old Trafford.
The same report says that contract talks between Manchester United and De Gea have hit a wall and that has thrown the future of the Spaniard up into the air.
De Gea has one year left on his current contract at Old Trafford but the same story says that talks have reached an “impasse” as the Spaniard asking for wages of around £350,000 per week.
The same article says that French champions Paris Saint-Germain are keeping a close eye on how De Gea’s situation is unfolding at Old Trafford.
It is claimed in the same story that Manchester United have considered Ajax’s Andre Onana, FC Barcelona’s Jasper Cillessen and Everton’s Jordan Pickford as replacements – but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will instead stick with Romero as his new number one should De Gea leave.
Manchester United are bound to be linked with a whole host of players this summer as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of next season following their sixth-placed finish in the Premier League.
