The Evening Standard is reporting that the Red Devils are interested in a deal to wrap up the signing of the England international.
The same article states that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made signing Wan-Bissaka his top priority this summer such is the Norwegian’s eagerness to land the defender.
According to the same story, the 20-time English champions will make an initial bid of £25m for the promising 21-year-old right-back.
However, the Evening Standard report goes on to say that Manchester United are still quite a way short of Crystal Palace’s £50m valuation of Wan-Bissaka.
The report goes on to say that Palace are hoping to kindle a bidding war between Manchester United and their bitter rivals Manchester City for one of their prized assets.
Wan-Bissaka made three assists in 35 appearances in the Premier League in the 2018-19 season to establish himself as one of the league’s most promising full-backs.
Manchester United are set to lose veteran defender Antonio Valencia in the summer when the Ecuador international’s contract expires.
Wan-Bissaka would compete with Diogo Dalot if the English full-back completes a move to Manchester United ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.
