Man United are eager to land Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace in the summer transfer window, according to a report
Manchester United will have to spend £50m to sign Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the summer transfer window, according to a report in England.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Red Devils are keen to bring the Palace star to Old Trafford but his transfer fee is proving a stumbling block.
The same article states that Palace are holding out for a transfer fee of around £50m, which would make the right-back their most expensive sale in the club’s history.
According to the same story, Manchester United are desperate to sign a long-term replacement for Antonio Valencia and Matteo Darmian in the problem position.
The Daily Mirror report goes on to say that Manchester United won’t start discussions over personal terms until they can reach an agreement with Palace.
Wan-Bissaka has been one of the top performing right-backs in the Premier League this season to earn interest from Manchester United.
The England Under-21 international made 39 appearances in all competitions as he continued to establish himself as a key player under Roy Hodgson.
Manchester United are looking to make improvements to their defence following a disappointing Premier League campaign that saw the Red Devils ends up in sixth spot.
The 20-time English champions failed to win silverware for the second successive season.
