Man United are ready to complete a deal to sign Swansea star Daniel James, according to a report
Manchester United are closing in on a deal to make Daniel James their first signing of the summer, according to a report in England.
The Evening Standard is reporting that the Red Devils are nearing the completion of a deal to sign the 21-year-old in the upcoming transfer window.
The same article states that the 20-time English champions could end up paying a fee in the region of £15m to £20m for the Swansea midfielder.
According to the same story, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is hopeful that James will be the first of a number of signings that can be completed before 1 July.
Manchester United are prepared to concede defeat in the race to sign their top summer target Borussia Dortmund playmaker Jadon Sancho, according to the Evening Standard report.
The London-based media outlet are reporting that Borussia Dortmund won’t be tempted to sell Sancho given that the German side are already set to recoup £58m from Christian Pulisic’s move to Chelsea FC.
Manchester United are bound to be linked with a host of potential signings in the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils finished in sixth place in the Premier League table to miss out on a place in next season’s Champions League competition.
Manchester United finished the season without a trophy following premature exits in the FA Cup and the Champions League at the last-eight stage.
