Manchester United are hoping to conclude deals for Benfica starlet Joao Felix and Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes in the coming weeks, according to a report in England.
The Evening Standard is reporting that the Red Devils are eager to get deals for Felix and Fernandes wrapped up as quickly as possible to make a positivie start to the transfer window.
The same article states that Manchester United could end up paying a combined fee of £150m for the two players in order to see off competition from other suitors.
According to the same story, Felix and Fernandes are at the top of Solskjaer’s wish-list as the Red Devils boss looks to completely overhaul his squad.
The Evening Standard report goes on to say that the 20-time English champions are concerned that Felix and Fernandes might prove reluctant to move to Old Trafford if Manchester United finish outside the top four.
Solskjaer’s side are in sixth place in the Premier League table and three points adrift of Chelsea FC with two games left to play this season.
The Red Devils were held to a 1-1 draw with Chelsea FC in the Premier League at Old Trafford on Sunday after Marcos Alonso cancelled out Juan Mata’s opener.
