Kane watched from the stands as Tottenham came from two goals down to secure an incredible 3-2 win over Ajax and book their place in the showpiece thanks to Lucas Moura’s second-half hat-trick.
The England striker is currently sidelined with an ankle injury that he picked up in April but he is working hard to ensure that he will be fit for the clash against Liverpool FC in Madrid on 1 June.
And the Spurs forward has now revealed that he is doing everything he can to try and be fit for the final against the Reds.
Asked whether he will be fit for the final, Kane told BT Sport on Wednesday night: “Hopefully. Rehab is going well so far.
“I start straight line running this week. That’s why I was okay to straight line run today, I didn’t want to cut any corners.
“We’ll just see. So far, so good. If it carries on like it should, I’d hope to be [fit]. There’s still a few weeks to go.”
Tottenham have all but secured Champions League football for next season heading into the last round of Premier League fixtures.
The Lilywhites will welcome Everton to their home ground in their final Premier League game of the season on Sunday, before turning their attentions towards their clash with Liverpool FC next month.
Liverpool FC booked their place in the final thanks to a 4-0 win over FC Barcelona at Anfield on Tuesday night.
