Tottenham Hotspur have launched a £10m bid to sign Leeds United midfielder Jack Clarke, according to a report in England.

The Daily Mail is reporting that Spurs are interested in a swoop to sign the impressive 18-year-old in the summer transfer window.

The same article states Tottenham are one of a number of clubs that have been keeping tabs on Clarke over the past 12 months.

According to the same story, the north London side have made an early bid in an attempt to wrap up a deal for the teenager quickly.

The Daily Mail report goes on to say that there’s a lot of Premier League interest in Clarke but it doesn’t reveal any of the interested suitors.

Clarke scored two goals in 24 games in all competitions for Leeds in the 2018-19 season to attract interest from Tottenham.

The teenager made his debut for Leeds in a 1-1 draw with Brentford at Elland Road in October 2018.

The English starlet was named the Leeds’ young player of the season following his excellent performances.

Tottenham finished in fourth place in the Premier League table this term to secure a place in next season’s Champions League.

Spurs will take on Liverpool FC in their first-ever Champions League final in Madrid on Saturday 1 June.
