Arsenal are lining up a third bid to sign Alexis Claude Maurice from Lorient this summer, say reports

Arsenal are lining up a third bid to try and sign Alexis Claude Maurice from Lorient this summer, according to reports in France.
French website Get French Football, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the Gunners are keen on a move to bring the teenage forward to The Emirates and they have already agreed personal terms with the attacker.
According to the same report, the 21-year-old is keen on a move to north London, where he would be reunited with his former team-mate Matteo Guendouzi, who signed for Arsenal last summer.
However, the same story says that Arsenal will have to up their offer for the forward to €20m after having had their first and second bids turned down by the Ligue 2 club.
Claude Maurice was in impressive form for Lorient last season and he scored 14 goals in 35 Ligue 2 games for the French outfit.
Arsenal are thought to be on the lookout for significant reinforcements this summer after a trophyless campaign, but their transfer budget is believed to be limited due to their failure to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
The Gunners finished fifth and lost 4-1 to Chelsea FC in the Europa League final.
