Arsenal submit £37m bid for Sampdoria duo – report
Arsenal have made a double bid for Sampdoria duo Dennis Praet and Joachim Andersen, according to a report in Italy

Arsenal have launched a £37m offer to sign Sampdoria pair Dennis Praet and Joachim Anderson, according to a report in Italy.
Italian media outlet Tuttosport, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the north London side are interested in a swoop to sign Anderson and Praet in the summer transfer window.
The same article states that Arsenal have submitted a £37m bid to bring in the Sampdoria pair after scouting the duo extensively throughout the 2018-19 season.
According to the same story, Sampdoria won’t sell Anderson and Praet in a combined deal for less than £44m ahead of the new Premier League campaign.
The Gunners are working within tight financial constraints in the current transfer window as Arsenal look to complete deals within a £50m budget.
Sampdoria star Praet scored two goals and made three assists in 37 games in Serie A last season from his role in the middle of the park.
Anderson, on the other hand, is a defensive player that could help Unai Emery to improve what was a leaky Arsenal rearguard last term.
The Gunners haven’t won the Premier League title since 2003-04 when Arsenal had the likes of Patrick Vieira and Thierry Henry in their squad.
The north London side finished in fifth place in the Premier League last term.
