Aston Villa want to sign Chelsea FC talent on loan for next season – report
Aston Villa are interested in signing Ethan Ampadu from Chelsea FC on loan for next season, say reports

Aston Villa are keen on a move to sign Ethan Ampadu on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea FC next season, according to reports in the British media.
The Guardian is reporting that the newly-promoted side are keen on a move to bring the 18-year-old to Villa Park if he is made available by the Blues this summer.
Ampadu is highly-rated and according to the same story, “several” other clubs are interested in signing him on loan for next season.
The teenager found his first-team opportunities to be limited last season under Maurizio Sarri at Chelsea FC.
Indeed, the Welshman did not make a single appearance in the Premier League for the Blues and only made five appearances in total in the cup competitions for the west Londoners.
According to the same story, Villa would be an “attractive” prospect for the Chelsea FC starlet due to their style of play and the fact that John Terry is part of the coaching staff.
The same article, however, claims that the prospect of Frank Lampard being appointed as Chelsea FC’s new manager this summer does open the door for Ampadu to get some more regular playing time next season.
Chelsea FC finished third and won the Europa League under Sarri last term.
