Sergio Ramos has heaped praise on Eden Hazard as the Chelsea FC playmaker continues to be linked with a transfer to Real Madrid.
Hazard is widely regarded as one of European football’s top attacking talents and he signed off for the season with Chelsea FC by helping them to win the Europa League last week.
The 28-year-old scored two goals and set up another as the Blues claimed a dominant 4-1 win over Arsenal in the Europa League final in Baku.
Speaking after the game, Hazard hinted that he is set to leave Chelsea FC this summer as a move to Real Madrid appears closer than ever.
Now, Real Madrid defender Ramos has talked up Hazard’s ability after the Chelsea FC star’s impressive season.
Speaking in an interview quoted by Metro, Ramos said: “I consider Eden Hazard to be a really, really top player.
“I do not give any advice to anyone, nor does it depend on me whether or not Hazard is signed, for example.
“This is an area outside of my domain. I’m the captain, and there are other departments to oversee the likes of of recruitment at the club.”
Hazard enjoyed a fine season with Chelsea FC this term, scoring 16 goals and making 15 assists in 37 Premier League games for the Blues.
He also netted twice and made two assists in the Europa League for Maurizio Sarri’s men.
