Jorginho’s agent has failed to rule out a move to Juventus after former Chelsea FC manager Maurizio Sarri took over the reins of the Serie A champions.

The Italian head coach took over the reins for the Turin side from his compatriot Massimiliano Allegri earlier this week following weeks of speculation.

Sarri departed for Juventus despite the former Napoli manager leading Chelsea FC to a third-placed finish and the Europa League trophy in his first season in charge.

Jorginho produced his best performances under Sarri during the pair’s time together at Napoli before the playmaker completed a £55m move to Chelsea FC following the manager’s appointment at Stamford Bridge last summer.

The Italy international struggled to hit his top form at Chelsea FC amid reports of some disharmony in the Blues dressing room.

And Jorginho’s agent has now failed to rule out a move to Juventus this summer.

“Chelsea have a four-year contract with the lad. We’ll wait a few days to figure out whether there is any truth in this interest,” Joao Santos is quoted as saying by the Daily Mirror.

“His past at Napoli won’t be an issue, because Jorginho is a professional.

“Right now, Jorginho is happy at Chelsea. He found a great atmosphere and we can’t really say that he’d like to go elsewhere, but anything can happen on the transfer market. We’ll wait and see…”

The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Brazil international is “ready to quit” the Europa League winners to follow Sarri to the Serie A champions in the 2019 summer transfer window.

And Jorginho’s agent spoke in glowing terms about Sarri to fuel speculation that the Italian midfielder is eager to reunite with his former Napoli boss at Juve this summer despite less than 12 months in the English capital.

“Sarri already showed at Napoli and Chelsea that he is a top level Coach,” Santos added.

“At a club like Juve, who have been so well-organised for years, he can only improve and continue to win. I’ve been tracking Sarri for five years and his style of football is very entertaining.

“Juventus will change, because before they would win without being convincing. Now they’ll convince too.”
