Liverpool FC star Mo Salah urged to sign for FC Barcelona
Samuel Eto'o admits he'd love to see Mo Salah leave Liverpool FC to sign for FC Barcelona one day
Mohamed Salah has been encouraged to sign for FC Barcelona if he gets the chance to move to Spain by Samuel Eto’o.
The Egypt international is widely regarded as one of European football’s top attacking talents and he has been earning plenty of praise for his fine form for Liverpool FC in recent months.
Salah won his first trophy as a Liverpool FC player earlier this month when he helped the Reds to claim a 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League final in Madrid.
Liverpool FC fans will be hoping that Salah will stay committed to the Merseyside outfit for the immediate future at the very least.
However, former FC Barcelona man Eto’o has now admitted that he would love to see the 27-year-old move to the Spanish club in the future.
Speaking in an interview quoted by The Sun, Eto’o said: “Barcelona would be a better fit [for Salah].
“Real gave me the opportunity to leave Africa but I know Barcelona’s style and I think it would be better for him.”
“If he has the chance to play in the best league of the world, which is the Spanish one, he has to sign for Barcelona.
“Mo has everything to be one of the best players in the world.”
Liverpool FC will have their sights firmly set on winning the Premier League next season after they finished in second place and just a point behind champions Manchester City last term.
The Reds will kick off their Premier League campaign with a home clash against Norwich City in August.
