The Evening Standard, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that Manchester United have been drawing up a shortlist of players they will target if the 26-year-old Pogba ends up exiting Old Trafford this summer.
The same story says that Manchester United have no plans to sell Pogba and they would ask for at last £130m to let him go this summer.
Nevertheless, it is claimed in the same report that the Red Devils are “worried” that Real Madrid will test their resolve with some big money bids for Pogba this summer, and that means that they have planned for the eventuality of selling the midfielder.
Spurs playmaker Eriksen is said to be one of the names on Manchester United’s shortlist should they indeed decide to cash in on Pogba this summer.
Whether the Denmark international would be willing to leave a club playing in next season’s Champions League for a team who finished sixth and will play in the Europa League next season remains to be seen of course.
Manchester United are bound to be linked with a host of players this summer as they look to bolster their squad ahead of next season.
