Man United to break transfer record for a defender twice this summer – report
Man United eye a combined £130m bid for Crystal Palace's Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Leicester defender Harry Maguire, according to a report

Manchester United are ready to break the transfer record for a defender twice in the 2019 summer transfer window, according to a report in England.
The Evening Standard is reporting that the Red Devils are desperate to sign Crystal Palace full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Leicester City defender Harry Maguire.
The same article states that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is eager to transform his defence and the Norwegian is targeting the Premier League pair to overhaul his backline.
According to the same story, Wan-Bissaka and Maguire could cost a combined £130m to lure to Old Trafford in deals that would both individually eclipse Virgil van Dijk’s world record £75m move to Liverpool FC in 2018.
The Evening Standard goes on to say that Crystal Palace are holding out for a £60m transfer fee for Wan-Bissaka, while Leicester value Maguire at £90m ahead of the upcoming transfer window.
The report states that Manchester United can expect to pay a similar transfer fee for Napoli centre-half Kalidou Koulibaly should they decide to switch their attention to the Serie A defender.
Manchester United finished in sixth place in the Premier League table last term following a disappointing end to the campaign after Solskjaer’s permanent appointment in March.
The Red Devils failed to qualify for the Champions League for the fourth time in six seasons.
