Key Man United star set to finally sign new contract – report
Marcus Rashford is close to signing a new contract with Manchester United, according to reports

Marcus Rashford is close to signing a new contract with Manchester United, according to reports in the British media.
The Times, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the England international is finally ready to put pen to paper on a new deal with the Red Devils following months of speculation about his future.
According to the same report, the 21-year-old has been “hesitant” to sign a new deal with the Red Devils because of reported interest in him from the likes of FC Barcelona and Juventus.
It is also claimed that Rashford has been making “fairly hefty” wage demands to try and increase his salary at Old Trafford.
Now though, the story says that those demands look set to be met as the England international closes in on signing a new deal with the Red Devils.
Rashford is currently on wages of around £80,000 a week, but he is expected to receive a fairly significant pay-rise, according to the same article.
The news of Rashford’s new deal would come as a boost to the Red Devils, who endured a disappointing campaign last term as they finished in sixth place in the Premier League table and without a trophy.
