Sky Sports is reporting that Manchester United are ready to make a second offer for Wan-Bissaka after Crystal Palace turned down their opening bid of £40m for the England Under-21 international.
The same article states that Manchester United are unlikely to meet Crystal Palace’s £60m asking price but the Old Trafford will make a significantly improved offer.
According to the same story, the Red Devils consider Norwich defender Aarons to be their second choice should they prove unable to complete a deal for Wan-Bissaka.
Sky Sports go on to say that Manchester United could face competition for the Norwich right-back from Crystal Palace as well as Tottenham Hotspur and German side RB Leipzig.
Aarons scored two goals and made six assists in 41 games in the Championship last term as he missed just five games in Norwich’s title-winning season.
The Hammersmith-born defender came through the youth ranks at Luton Town before he moved to the Canaries in 2016.
Aarons was named the Championship’s young player of the year and made both the EFL and PFA’s Champions team of the year.
