Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku agrees personal terms with Inter Milan, according to a report
Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has agreed personal terms with Inter Milan, according to a report in Italy.
Italian media outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the Manchester United forward is ready to move to the San Siro outfit this summer.
The same article states that Lukaku is set to earn around £6.6m in bonuses until 2024, although his salary is not outlined in the report in the respected Italian newspaper.
According to the same story, Inter Milan haven’t reached an agreement with Manchester United over a transfer fee so Lukaku’s switch to Serie A isn’t yet imminent.
The report goes on to say that the 20-time English champions are eager to recoup £62m of the £75m that they spent on Lukaku in the 2017 summer transfer window.
Former Anderlecht striker Lukaku has struggled to hit his top form at Manchester United following his move to Manchester United from Everton two summers ago.
Lukaku scored 42 times in two seasons at the 20-time English champions under Jose Mourinho and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Manchester United finished in sixth place in the Premier League table last season to miss out on a spot in the Champions League.
The Red Devils failed to win a trophy for the second successive season.
