Manchester United are lining up a £15m bid to make Sean Longstaff their third summer signing, according to reports in the British media.

The Daily Mail, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the Red Devils are keen to bring in the 21-year-old Newcastle United midfielder after they officially announced the signing of Aaron Wan-Bissaka over the weekend.

According to the same story, Manchester United have now turned their attentions towards making some midfield reinforcements – and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to bring in two players in that position.

The same article says that Longstaff is their next main target and that Manchester United will submit a £15m offer plus add-ons next week as they look to bring him to Old Trafford.

The 21-year-old scored one goal in nine Premier League games for the Magpies last season after his campaign was cut short by injury.

Manchester United are thought to be on the lookout for a number of key signings this summer as they look to add to their squad ahead of next season.

The Red Devils finished in sixth place in the Premier League table and without a trophy last term.
