Wilfried Zaha is keen on a transfer to Arsenal this summer, according to Sky Sports News reporter Kaveh Solhekol.

The Gunners are thought to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as Unai Emery prepares for his second season in charge of the north London club.

Arsenal finished in fifth place and without a trophy last term to miss out on the chance to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

Crystal Palace striker Zaha has been one name touted as a possible target for the Gunners as Emery looks to add to his attacking options at The Emirates.

Now, Sky Sports News reporter Solhekol has claimed that the Gunners are set to bid for Zaha and that the player himself is keen on a move to the north London club.

Solhekol wrote on Twitter: “Arsenal make £40m bid for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha. Zaha wants to move to Arsenal.”

Zaha scored 10 goals and made five assists in 34 Premier League games for Crystal Palace last season under Roy Hodgson.

Arsenal were aiming to qualify for next season’s Champions League by winning the Europa League last term, but they ended up losing 4-1 to Chelsea FC in the final.

The Gunners have not won the Premier League title since 2004.
