Bournemouth won’t sell 25-year-old linked with Arsenal this summer – report
Bournemouth want to keep Arsenal target Ryan Fraser at the club for another season, according to a report
Bournemouth aren’t prepared to sell Ryan Fraser to Arsenal this summer, according to a report in England.
The Daily Express is reporting that the Cherries are prepared to keep the Scotland international at the south coast club for the 2019-20 Premier League season.
The same article states that Bournemouth would rather keep Fraser for one more season despite the Scottish winger’s current deal expiring next summer.
According to the same story, the Premier League side would be prepared to allow Fraser to leave the club for nothing in the 2020 summer transfer window.
The Daily Express is reporting that Arsenal are keeping tabs on Fraser after his impressive form last term.
The report goes on to state that the Gunners have placed Fraser on their list of summer targets but the north London side would prefer to sign Wilfried Zaha ahead of Fraser.
Fraser made 14 assists in 38 games in the Premier League last season to finish as the second-highest assist maker in the English top flight behind Eden Hazard.
Arsenal signed South American teenager Gabriel Martinelli in a £1.5m deal from Brazilian side Ituano earlier this month.
The Gunners have only signed Martinelli in the summer transfer window despite the need for improvements in some key areas of the team.
