Eden Hazard is confident that Christian Pulisic will develop into a top player at Chelsea FC.

The United States international linked up with his new Chelsea FC team-mates this summer after the Blues reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund back in January.

Chelsea FC set a new club transfer record after the Europa League winners agreed a £57.6m deal with Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund for the 20-year-old.

Pulisic’s arrival will help Chelsea FC to fill the void left by Hazard after the Belgian forward completed a switch to the Spanish giants earlier this summer.

The American has a big reputation after an impressive three seasons in the Dortmund first-team and Pulisic has already shown some glimpses of his talent during pre-season.

And Real Madrid star Hazard is confident that Pulisic can develop into a star at Chelsea FC.

“He can be one of the best in the future for sure,” Hazard is quoted as saying by Metro.

“He can be (a star). Now he’s at one of the best clubs in the world. He’s a proper player. He can play football.”

Hazard moved to Real Madrid last month after the number 10 had been linked with a switch to the Spanish capital every summer for the past three or four seasons.

The Belgian star won two Premier League titles, two Europa League crowns, the FA Cup and the League Cup during his decorated seven-year stay at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea FC never managed to win the Champions League during Hazard’s spell at the west London side.
