Callum Hudson-Odoi requests shirt number in Chelsea FC contract talks – report
Callum Hudson-Odoi wants to wear the number 10 shirt at Chelsea FC

Callum Hudson-Odoi has asked to be handed Eden Hazard’s former number 10 shirt during contract negotiations with Chelsea FC, according to reports in the British media.
The Evening Standard, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the 18-year-old wants Hazard’s old number after the Belgian left Stamford Bridge to move to Real Madrid this summer.
According to the same story, Hudson-Odoi has agreed a new five-year contract with the west London club and is set to sign it before the new season begins.
That would bring to an end the relentless speculation about his future after he was linked with a move to Bayern Munich in the January transfer window.
According to the same story, Hudson-Odoi has made it clear that he wants the No10 shirt at Stamford Bridge next season.
However, the article also points out that Hudson-Odoi’s signing of a new deal is not conditional on being handed the shirt number.
Despite that, it is claimed that Chelsea FC are understandably keen to try and keep the highly-rated teenager happy at the west London club.
Hudson-Odoi is currently recovering from Achilles surgery and he will miss the start of the new season under Frank Lampard.
