The playmaker signed for Chelsea FC from Borussia Dortmund back in January but he was immediately loaned back to the German club for the remainder of the campaign.
Pulisic has now linked up with his new Chelsea FC team-mates and he will be on a mission to impress new Blues boss Frank Lampard after his appointment was confirmed last week.
The 20-year-old scored four goals and made four assists in 20 Bundesliga games for Dortmund last season.
And United States manager Berhalter is expecting big things from Pulisic in the seasons to come.
Speaking in an interview quoted by the Daily Mail, Berhalter said: “What we see with Christian is just how dynamic he is with the ball. He just accelerates past opponents and forces defenders into mistakes.
“He then opens up the game for the team. What I particularly like about Christian is his ability to take on information and act on it.
“He has the ability to influence the game from different positions and can unlock defences whether as a No 10 or going wide. With the coaching he’ll get in England, he has an incredibly bright future.”
Lampard was confirmed as Chelsea FC’s new manager last week after weeks of speculation linking him with the role.
The 41-year-old has signed a three-year deal to take over at Stamford Bridge despite having only one season of managerial experience under his belt.
Chelsea FC finished in third place in the Premier League table and won the Europa League under Maurizio Sarri last term.
