Man United join Liverpool FC in race to sign 20-year-old winger – report
Manchester United join Arsenal and Liverpool FC in the race to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Jacob Bruun Larsen, say reports
Manchester United have joined both Arsenal and Liverpool FC in the race to sign Borussia Dortmund winger Jacob Bruun Larsen this summer, according to reports in the British media.
The Sun, as quoted by the Daily Mail, is reporting that the Red Devils are stepping up their interest in the 20-year-old as they bid to continue their summer recruitment drive.
The same story says that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is now keen to move to bring in Larsen after having completed deals for both Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James this summer.
The article says that Manchester United will join a three-way battle for the winger’s signature as they look to try and seal a deal for around £15m.
Arsenal and Liverpool FC are both said to be interested in Larsen and there could now be a straight shootout between the three Premier League clubs, according to the same story.
The left-sided attacking midfielder scored two goals and made two assists in 24 Bundesliga games for Dortmund last season.
The Dane also netted once and made one assist in five Champions League appearances for the German club last term.
Manchester United finished in sixth place in the Premier League table and without a trophy last season under Solskjaer.
