Manchester United will look to sign Lille winger Nicolas Pepe as Romelu Lukakua’s replacement, according to a report in England.

The Times is reporting that Lukaku could be on his way to Inter Milan in the summer transfer window.

The same article states that former Chelsea FC manager Antonio Conte is eager to bring Lukaku to the San Siro ahead of the start of the new Serie A season.

According to the same story, Manchester United are looking to secure a transfer fee in the region of £90m for the Belgium international.

The Times go on to add that the 20-time English champions are already considering replacements with transfer deadline day on the horizon.

The report continues that Manchester United are lining up 24-year-old Lille forward Pepe to replace Lukaku in the Red Devils team.

Manchester United should be able to sign Pepe if the Red Devils meet Lille’s £70m asking price, according to The Times.

The Ivory Coast international has been linked with Manchester United’s rivals Arsenal and Liverpool FC this summer.

Pepe scored 22 goals and made 11 assists in Ligue 1 last term to attract interest from the Premier League.

Manchester United have already signed Swansea City midfielder Daniel James and Crystal Palace full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka so far this summer.
