FC Barcelona are prepared to sell reported Manchester United target Samuel Umtiti, according to a report in Spain.
Spanish media outlet Sport, as quoted by the Daily Mirror, is reporting that the La Liga champions are ready to offload Umtiti this summer.
The same article states that Umtiti has strained relations with the FC Barcelona hierarchy since the World Cup last year.
According to the same story, FC Barcelona were upset with Umtiti’s negotiating tactics last summer after he flirted with a potential exit.
The report goes on to say that FC Barcelona would be prepared to listen to offers in the region of €50m (£44.8m).
The Daily Mirror go on to list Manchester United and Juventus as two potential options for Umtiti in the summer transfer window.
Manchester United have been linked with a number of top centre-halves in the summer transfer window so far.
The Red Devils conceded 54 times in 38 games last season to highlight their defence as a key area of weakness in the team.
