Tottenham Hotspur are on the brink of signing Dani Olmo ahead of Manchester United and Liverpool FC, according to a report in Spain.

Spanish media outlet Mucho Deporte, as quoted by website 90Min, is reporting that Tottenham have reached a €25m agreement with Dinamo Zagreb to sign the talented playmaker.

The same article states that Liverpool FC and Manchester United were both interested in the 21-year-old but Tottenham have managed to edge out their Premier League rivals.

According to the same story, Dinamo Zagreb have made no secret of their willingness to listen to offers for the Spain Under-21 international this summer.

Tottenham have already signed Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele in a club-record deal in the current transfer window.

Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has been linked with a number of players this summer as the Argentinian head coach looks to build his squad.

Tottenham lost 2-0 to Premier League rivals Liverpool FC in the Champions League final in Kiev last month to miss out on their first European Cup.

The north London side managed to finish in fourth place in the Premier League to continue their run of finishing in the Champions League spots.

Tottenham star the new Premier League season with a home clash against Aston Villa.
