Dani Ceballos insists it’s too early to compare the Arsenal summer signing to club legend Santi Cazorla.

The Spain international has made a decent start to his Gunners career to waste no time winning over the Arsenal supporters.

Ceballos made his full debut in a 2-1 victory over Burnley at The Emirates earlier this month – and the Spanish midfielder was named the man of the match following his dominant performance in the middle of the park.

Ceballos struggled in Arsenal’s 3-1 loss to Premier League leaders Liverpool FC at Anfield on Saturday evening.

The on-loan Real Madrid midfielder was unable to have as big an influence on the Premier League clash.

Ceballos has already earned favourable comparisons to Cazorla since his move to the north London side.

However, the Arsenal summer signing was quick to play down talk of him emulating Cazorla at The Emirates.

Responding to the above cartoon that Ceballos spotted on Twitter, the summer signing wrote: “The king is still Santi Cazorla, I still have a lot to learn to become like him.”

Arsenal are in third place in the Premier League table behind Liverpool FC and Manchester City.

The Gunners are three points adrift of Premier League leaders Liverpool FC in the early stages of the title race.

Unai Emery signed Gabriel Martinelli, William Saliba, Ceballos, Nicolas Pepe, Kieran Tierney and David Luiz in the summer transfer window.

Arsenal will take on Spurs at The Emirates next Sunday.
