Callum Hudson-Odoi has taken to social media to reveal his delight at returning to first-team training with Chelsea FC this week.

The England youngster has been in recovery since suffering an Achilles injury towards the end of last season and requiring surgery to correct the problem.

Hudson-Odoi has been working hard on his fitness levels in recent weeks since suffering the injury back in April and he is now on course to make himself available for selection again.

Hudson-Odoi was involved in Chelsea FC training at Cobham on Tuesday of this week as he looks to step up his preparations and prove to Frank Lampard that he is ready to feature again.

And the 18-year-old was clearly thrilled to take a major step in the recovery process by featuring in training this week.

Hudson-Odoi posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Feels good ⚽️🔥”

Chelsea FC will return to Premier League action on Saturday lunchtime when they travel to Norwich City in the top flight.

The Blues are still looking for their first Premier League victory under Lampard after having lost their opener to Manchester United and then drawing their second game 1-1 with Leicester City at Stamford Bridge last weekend.
