Chelsea FC are hoping to beat Liverpool FC to the signing of Exeter City record-breaker Ben Chrisene, according to a report in England.

The Sun is reporting that Chelsea FC have invited the 15-year-old to train with the Blues team following his performances for Exeter.

The same article states that Chrisene has already trained with the Champions League holders after his debut for Exeter against Coventry City this month.

According to the same story, Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich and Premier League side Southampton are also interested in the teenager.

The Sun go on to report that Chelsea FC are hoping to sign the Exeter starlet despite their transfer ban from Fifa.

Chelsea FC won their first Premier League game under Lampard at the weekend following a 3-2 victory over Norwich City.

Tammy Abraham scored his first Blues goal to break the deadlock in the third minute before Todd Cantwell levelled three minutes later.

Mason Mount scored in successive Premier League games to restore the west London side’s lead before Teemu Pukki levelled before the break.

However, Abraham netted a winner with 22 minutes to go to secure a vital three points for Lampard.

Chelsea FC will take on Sheffield United in their next Premier League game at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.
