The Sun is reporting that Liverpool FC manager Jurgen Klopp is interested in a potential deal to sign the Guinea international in the current transfer window.
The same article states that Klopp would want Kamano to provide cover for his current attacking options of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.
According to the same story, the German head coach is weighing up a bid to sign the Guinea international to ensure Liverpool FC have enough forward players to cope with the demands of Champions League football next term.
Kamano scored 10 times in 37 games in Ligue 1 last season to take his overall tally to 29 goals in three seasons at Bordeaux.
Liverpool FC are a little exposed up front after England striker Daniel Sturridge was allowed to leave on a free transfer earlier this summer after six-and-a-half seasons at the club.
Kamano’s Guinea team-mate Naby Keita is currently at Liverpool FC after the box-to-box midfielder completed a £48m switch to Anfield from German club RB Leipzig last summer.
Liverpool FC have been quiet in the summer transfer window after only having completed deals for teenagers Sepp van den Berg and Harvey Elliott so far.
