Mohamed Salah has reiterated that he’s happy at Liverpool FC despite Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville tipping the Egypt forward to leave Anfield in the next 12 months.

The African forward has finished at the top of the Premier League’s goal-scoring charts in his last two seasons at Liverpool FC following his move from AS Roma in 2017.

Salah has been the most prolific player in the Premier League since his arrival two years ago with an impressive 55 goals in 76 games for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

The Egypt international lifted his first major trophy at Liverpool FC last season after the Reds were 2-0 winners against Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League final.

Salah got on the score-sheet in the Madrid showpiece to break the deadlock before Divock Origi put the result beyond doubt in the closing stage of the final.

Sky Sports pundit Neville tipped Salah to leave Liverpool FC in a recent interview.

“Salah’s going to leave in the next 12 months, I can see it already,” Neville said last week.

“He [Carragher] knows, he won’t say it. I can see it, you can feel it, you can smell it, you know when a player’s like…”

However, Salah has now emphasised that he’s happy at Liverpool FC.

“I’m happy at Liverpool,” Salah told CNN.

“I’m happy in the city – I love the fans and they love me. I’m happy at the club.”

Liverpool FC signed Salah in a £39m deal from Serie A giants AS Roma in the 2017 summer transfer window.

The Reds will take on Arsenal in their next Premier League fixture at Anfield on Saturday evening.

Liverpool FC beaten Norwich City and Southampton in their opening two league games.
