Inter Milan hoping to sign 30-year-old from Man United on loan – report
Inter Milan want to sign Alexis Sanchez from Man United on loan this summer, say reports
Inter Milan have reopened talks with Manchester United about signing Alexis Sanchez on loan, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Mirror is claiming that the Serie A side are keen on bringing the 30-year-old attacker to the San Siro for the season before the summer transfer window closes in Europe on 2 September.
Indeed, the same story says that Inter are hoping to have a deal wrapped up for Sanchez within the next 72 hours as they look to bring in the Chile international.
According to the article, Manchester United want Inter Milan to pay a big slice of Sanchez’s £500,000-a-week wages to make the move happen next week.
The same story claims that Manchester United want Inter to pay at least £5m of Sanchez’s wages in the loan deal, with a £15m option to make the move permanent next summer.
Sanchez is yet to feature for Manchester United this season after picking up an injury while on international duty with Chile at the Copa America in the summer.
The former Udinese man has struggled to find consistent form for the Red Devils since his move to Manchester United from Arsenal in the January transfer window back in 2018.
