Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is prepared to wait until next summer to try and sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund, according to reports in the British media.

The Evening Standard, as quoted by the Daily Mail, is reporting that the Norwegian boss is still keen on a move to bring Sancho to Old Trafford but he is in no rush to do a deal in January.

The same story says that Solskjaer is ready to wait until next summer before stepping up his pursuit of the talented attacker.

That’s despite the fact that Manchester United have allowed both Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku to leave the club and leave them light on options up front for this season.

According to the same article, Manchester United will make a renewed push to try and sign Sancho from Dortmund at the end of the season.

The same article says that Solskjaer was keen to try and sign Sancho in this summer’s transfer window, but it was made clear that the attacker was not for sale.

Manchester United will return to Premier League action on Saturday when they take on Southampton away from home.
