Manchester United agree to loan Alexis Sanchez to Inter Milan for the season, according to a report
Manchester United have agreed to loan Alexis Sanchez to Inter Milan until June 2020, according to a report in Italy.
Website Gianluca di Marzio, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that Manchester United are prepared to send Sanchez to Inter Milan for the 2019-20 season.
The same article states that Sanchez is set to undergo a medical at Inter Milan before the two parties look to finalise the small details involved in the deal.
According to the same story, Inter will pay €5m of Sanchez’s €12m wages at Old Trafford throughout the entirety of his loan spell in Serie A.
The report goes on to state that the Serie A giants won’t have the option to buy Sanchez at the end of the Premier League season.
Manchester United signed Sanchez in a swap deal from Arsenal in the the 2018 January transfer window following months of speculation.
The Chile international has only managed to score five times in 45 appearances since his move to Manchester United from their bitter rivals.
Manchester United signed Swansea City winger Daniel James, Leicester City defender Harry Maguire and Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils lost their first Premier League game of the season last weekend with a 2-1 defeat by Crystal Palace.
