Cristiano Ronaldo tells Juventus forward Paulo Dybala to move to Manchester United, according to a report
Cristiano Ronaldo has told Paulo Dybala to move to Manchester United to become “a champion”, according to a report in England.
The Daily Mail, as quoted by The Sun, is reporting that the Juventus forward has advised the Argentina international to complete a move to Old Trafford to boost his career.
The same article states that Ronaldo offered the advice to Dybala in a players’ WhatsApp group as the Argentinian forward’s future at Juve continues to hang in the balance.
According to the same story, the former Manchester United forward is thought to have endorsed Dybala’s proposed move to the 20-time English champions this summer.
The report goes on to state that Ronaldo explained to Dybala how he became “a champion” during his six seasons at Manchester United before his £80m switch to Real Madrid in 2009.
Manchester United will start the new Premier League season with a home clash against Chelsea FC on 11 August before a trip to Wolves on 19 August.
The Red Devils will be eager to improve upon their disappointing sixth-placed finish last term.
Manchester United have failed to win any silverware in the past two seasons, while they’ve only qualified for the Champions League twice in the past six campaigns.
Their last Premier League title triump was in 2013.
