The Red Devils have made an unbeaten start to the Premier League season as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to continue his rebuild of the 20-time English champions.
Manchester United missed out on the chance to hoist themselves to the top of the Premier League table on Monday night following a 1-1 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Anthony Martial’s first-half opener was cancelled out by Ruben Neves before World Cup winner Paul Pogba missed a penalty in the second half to deny the visitors a win.
Manchester United have scored five goals in their opening two games, with Marcus Rashford and Martial both finding the net twice in the new Premier League season.
Former Red Devils striker Owen is backing Manchester United to win to nil against Crystal Palace in their Premier League clash at Old Trafford on Saturday.
“United will still be rueing Paul Pogba’s second-half penalty miss at Molineux on Monday evening, but I am confident Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side will return to winning ways against a Palace side who have yet to score so far this season,” Owen told BetVictor.
“United have genuine pace in their side and I believe they will have too much quality for an Eagles side who have created very little in their two games so far this term.
“Manchester United haven’t won the Premier League title since 2013 when Sir Alex Ferguson led the Red Devils to title glory.”
The 20-time English champions signed Swansea City winger Daniel James, Manchester United defender Harry Maguire and Crystal Palace full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the summer transfer window.
