The two north London rivals played out a thrilling 2-2 draw at The Emirates on Sunday as Arsenal came from two goals down to earn a point against their bitter local rivals.
Christian Eriksen and Harry Kane had put the visitors in control, but Alexandre Lacazette pulled a goal back for the hosts just before half-time.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang then netted an equaliser for Unai Emery’s men – but the Gunners were unable to find a winner against the Lilywhites.
Spurs are currently ninth in the Premier League table and two points behind Arsenal, who are fifth after four games of the campaign.
However, former Manchester United and Chelsea FC boss Mourinho seems to think that Spurs are still likely to finish above Arsenal in the Premier League table this season.
Speaking to Sky Sports after Sunday’s game, Mourinho said: “I still think Tottenham. It’s Man City and Liverpool and I still think Spurs are the third-best team.
“However, I like many things in the Arsenal squad.”
Arsenal will return to Premier League action with a trip to Watford after the international break on 15 September, while Spurs will take on Crystal Palace at home the day before.
The Gunners finished fifth last season, just behind their local rivals, who ended up fourth.
