Christian Pulisic is set to cut short his international break with the United States squad to return to Chelsea FC, according to a report in England.

Website Yahoo! Sport, as quoted by the Daily Star, is reporting that the Blues signing is set to leave the USA Camp early to return to Chelsea FC to prepare for their next Premier League game.

The same article states that Pulisic has agreed to miss the USA’s clash against Uruguay in order to link up with the Blues squad back in London ahead of next Saturday’s clash against Wolves.

According to the same story, it’s hoped that Pulisic’s premature return will give the Chelsea FC playmaker the best possible chance to be in top shape for the clash at the Molineux Stadium.

Pulisic has already established himself as a regular in the Chelsea FC team after he linked up with his new Blues team-mates at the west London side during the summer months.

Chelsea FC agreed a £58m deal to sign Pulisic from Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund in January but the United States international remained at the German club for the remainder of the 2018-19 season.

The Blues have collected five points from their opening four games, securing a 3-2 win at Norwich City on their last outing on the road.
