Callum Hudson-Odoi is close to signing a new deal with Chelsea FC to commit his future to the west London club, according to reports in the British media.

The Daily Express is reporting that the 18-year-old is “close” to finalising a new deal to keep him at Stamford Bridge following the high levels of speculation about his future.

The same report says that Hudson-Odoi’s new contract is set to earn him around £180,000 a week at the west London club.

Hudson-Odoi has not yet featured for Chelsea FC this season as he continues his rehabilitation from an Achilles problem he picked up towards the end of last term.

However, he is now closing in on a return to action with the Blues and he will be hoping to force his way into Frank Lampard’s team as soon as he is back fully fit.

The England international was heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge in the January transfer window, but he ended up staying at the west London club.

Meanwhile, Chelsea FC are currently preparing to return to Premier League action after the international break when they take on Wolves away from home on Saturday afternoon.
